Orientation
Welcome to the MECE Community! Whether you are new to MECE or a returning family, please watch the orientation video to learn about this year's policies and procedures.
Get Involved
MECE Preschool has a very active and involved Parents' Association. All parents of MECE students are automatically a member. Check them out on Facebook.
Volunteer! We would love to have your help with car line, be a classroom parent, or even a member of the Board of Directors.
Support Your Teacher - every classroom is special and has different needs. Just ask your teacher how you can help.
First United Methodist Church offers numerous programs for families and youth, such as Parent's Morning Out, Summer Programs, Soccer and so much more. Check them out.
Drop Off and Pick Up
MECE operates multiple drop-off and pick-up car lines at multiple times of the day. For details see the Car Line Procedures page.
Sign In/Out
MECE requires a signature from the authorized parent or guardian who is dropping off or picking up your child. A contactless signature option - where you sign your name on your own cell phone - is available to parents who download the Procare mobile application. (Please note: Procare's mobile app is available only to parents; other authorized guardians must sign their name on MECE's tablets).

Billing and Payments
Invoice Schedule
Invoices are emailed mid month.
Payment is due by the last day of the month.
Late fees are added on the first of the next month.
Auto Pay
Set up auto pay by printing and submitting a signed copy of the Electronic Funds Transfer Authorization Form.
Auto-payments are processed on the due date.
View Balance, Get End-of-Year Reports, or Pay Online
Log in to to your account at https://www.myprocare.com/Account
Click View Account Ledger to see your current balance, or get year-end reports for taxes.
Click Pay to pay by credit card. Note that credit card fees will apply.
Pay by cash or check
Payment can be placed in your child's communication folder.
Priority Registration
Priority registration happens in early January, about 2 weeks prior to registration opens to the public.
Benefits of priority registration:
Completely online.
No need to stress about being first in line. All applications that are received by the due date are processed "simultaneously", regardless of order received.
Accounts who have auto-pay set up don't need to pay registration fees at the time of your application. Registration fees are included on your next regular invoice.
Scholarships
MECE Preschool & Kindergarten partners with the following scholarship providers:
Family Empowerment Scholarships through Step Up for Students and AAA
The Family Empowerment Scholarship-Educational Options give families a choice of financial assistance toward private school tuition and fees based on financial need. Families of United States armed forces and/or law enforcement do not need to meet the income requirements.
The Family Empowerment Scholarship-Unique Abilities (formerly Gardiner and McKay) allows parents to personalize the education of their children with unique abilities by directing money toward a combination of programs and approved providers. These include schools, therapists, specialists, curriculum, technology – even a college savings account.
The Hope Scholarship is for students in grades kindergarten through 12 who are enrolled in a Florida public school and have been bullied, harassed, assaulted, threatened and/or a victim of other violent acts.

Parentally placed private school student with a disability does not have an individual right to receive some or all of the special education and related services that the student would receive if enrolled in a public school under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), as amended.

The MECE Board of Directors provides financial need scholarships.
